Refund Policy for StackWalls

1. General Refund Terms

At StackWalls, we are committed to ensuring that our clients and freelancers have a seamless and satisfactory experience. Our refund policy is designed to address issues that may arise during the course of a project. By using our Platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Project Cancellation by Client: If a client cancels a project before a freelancer has started working, a full refund of the payment will be processed. If the project is canceled after work has commenced but before completion, the refund will be proportional to the work completed.
  • Freelancer Unavailability: If a freelancer becomes unavailable or unable to complete a project, the client may request a refund for the portion of the work not completed.
  • Mutual Agreement: If both the client and freelancer agree to terminate a project early, the client may be eligible for a refund for any uncompleted work.
  • Violation of Terms: If either party is found to be in violation of StackWalls' Terms and Conditions, leading to the termination of the project, a refund may be issued based on the severity and nature of the violation.
  • 3. Dispute Resolution

    In case of disputes regarding the completion of work or quality, StackWalls offers a dispute resolution process:

  • Initiating a Dispute: Either the client or freelancer can initiate a dispute by contacting our support team within 7 days of the project'xs completion or cancellation.
  • Review Process: Our team will review the submitted evidence from both parties, including communication logs, work submissions, and any other relevant documentation.
  • Resolution: Based on the review, StackWalls will make a final decision on the refund, which may include a partial or full refund, or in some cases, no refund.
  • 4. Non-Refundable Items

    The following payments are generally non-refundable:

  • Service Fees: Fees paid to StackWalls for platform use are non-refundable.
  • Completed Milestones: Payments for completed milestones, as agreed upon in the project terms, are non-refundable unless there is a clear breach of contract by the freelancer.
  • 5. Refund Process

    Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the resolution decision. Clients will be notified via email once the refund has been issued.

    6. Modifications to the Refund Policy

    StackWalls reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email and will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
